Maybe this is why Odom is disappointed

Odom appeared to leave the bench, although he later denied it.

He thought he didn't leave the bench.

He took two steps forward. a rule's a rule... but it was to steps. Lamar considers that his "cheering area..." so i can see his justification.

He walked two or three steps, and left the "immediate vicinity of the bench". He was a little past the three point line. If the NBA wants to have that rule, they need to enforce it and stay consistent. Odom left the immediate vicinity of the bench, so according to rules, he gets a suspension.

The assistant coaches try to hold the players on the bench back, but they should immediately form a line in front of the bench (like security guards) to prevent the players from stepping on the court.

If they didn't suspend him they would have been castigated for favoring the lakers. The suns fans would be really pissed 4 sure. :nervous:
