It was an honest question to ask, because it seemed at the beginning that pau was not 'supportive' towards his teammate.

We all have different views of things, that's why this is a forum, so you can get different views of a situation that some might view it in a different way....

sorry if my question was not up to some of your standards....now, i'll jump out the window...

Gasol is a Laker. His friend got injured but that's a part of the NBA life. Your loyalties are to the team first. It won't effect him. Gasol is a professional.

Will it hurt the team that pau was not supportive of his teammate(s) and focused more on Rudy?

if you watched the video, pau was more worried about rudy(with reason, they are friends) but later on, was not supportive of Trevor, will this hurt the team? shouldn't pau have his teammates' back, like the blazers did?

when do you cross the line of having your friend's back or your teammates' back? especially when pau should know trevor had no intent on hurting rudy...

this isnt the wwf its the nba pau shouldnt have to body a blazer to have ariza's back

Pau was right it was a unfortunate fall. I don't read any more into it than that.

I bet Trevor feels bad about. Trev probably knows that Pau is very close with Rudy, so I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest bit if Trev apologized to Pau already.

honestly, i dont understand why some people make threads like this. theres no point to it, you cant really respond to it, and its speculation built from air.

Wow, you're really reaching with this thread. Let's not try to make something out of nothing. Unfortunate play means just that - it was an unfortunate play.

Don't read any more into it.

I doubt it will affect anything. It's just an unfortunate thing that happened.

I think he was more concerned about Rudy because he was lying on the ground in pain... maybe that was it.
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

There isn't any story going on, nothing is going on with Trevor, nothing will happen.

BTW Pau said Trevor didn't want to hurt Rudy...

Yeah it's kind of a silly assertion.

Ariza hasn't and didn't intentionally make him get carried out on a stretcher. Sure it's scary, but he'll be alright. Ariza didn't get suspended even - so the league officials agree with me; unfortunate fall on a good play on the ball.

Because let's be honest, if Ariza DOESN'T make that play. How many of YOU would blame him for not knocking Rudy on the floor... be honest.
