now it seems like he has become a spot up shooter like all the rest of our guards and small forwards what happened to the off ball movement, offensive rebounding, and hustle on both sides of the court? now on offense it seems all he does is ball watch it seems like he isnt doing almost anything that he was doing in the beginning of the season or up until he showed he could shoot the 3..

no matter how bad Trevor might play, its still better than having Brian Cook

He's definitely in a slump, no doubt about it. Still not as bad as Sasha, but a slump nonetheless. Farmar too. Odom's reverting back to his old inconsistent self as well. Unfortunate for us.

At least he's better than Kwame, Cook, and whoever else combined lol.

Ok we know he's not as bad as so and so but still he's regressed. When's the last time he dunked or played his old defense. And when's the last time he didn't shoot 100 jumpers in a game? Cmon Trevor.

He's playing bad because Odom is starting and he's overrated.

I think it may be the difference in rotation. Maybe when Drew gets back things will be different. If I recall his slump happened right around that time. He was in god mode before.
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

his edge isn't lost and i'm glad he had to get into that altercation with Portland because he needed it. Trev's a tough dude but lately he's been playing that 3 way too much and way to inconsistently. He's a vital part to this teams defense and the recent play isn't what's worrying me..it worries me if, mentally, he can't regroup and get that same trevor that played Boston christmas day back and soon.

yeah, ever since he developed his 3 and started hitting them in games he's been camping out a lot at the line, not battling as much inside. don't know if it's a lack of focus or what, but i hope he gets his tough defense back.

I wish Trevor would get back to doing the things that made him one of my favorite players -- cuts and activity in the paint (offensive rebounds, dunks, lay ups) and the energy/hustle plays. I'm glad he's feeling more confident in his jumper but just because that option is available doesn't mean he should take it every time. The opposition is probably content in giving him that shot instead of high percentage ones around the rim. I don't think he's lost his edge but he needs to stop settling.

No...

But no Bynum/Odom in 2nd lineup sure changes the diversity of this squad.

They can't trade Lamar with or without Bynum. That day has passed. The trading deadline is long gone and the next thing will be for LA to decide if they want to sign Lamar as a free agent or let him walk. Same with Trevor.

It's sad to see he hasn't even been dunking anymore. Seemingly everytime he's been going to the rim, which aren't 'many lately, he's been finishing soft just laying the ball in. I miss the old Trevor going in with reckless abandon and finishing strong everytime. Also, recently, in every alley oop that he's been involved in, he's just been laying it in as well, [expletive]in' weak.

When/if Andrew comes back, it'll change, trust me. Odom will come off the bench as our facilitator, move the ball around, the Bench Mob WILL BE BACK.
