U should see these guys on LG going on about not winning the championship after of this loss. Come on, im sure the 90s Bulls lost a game or two, they turned out just fine.

This loss proves we're soft, and that we won't win squat without Bynum in the middle.

That's not exactly breaking news.

It's breaking news to many Laker fans who believe that Kobe can chuck 30 shots a game and have us win it all.

A steady diet to the post, and a shot blocking presence will do the trick.

We can only win it all with Bynum, a healthy one.

Figures some people would overreact after this loss. Yes, it was a pathetic team effort from a championship contending team, but let's not be stupid and start saying that because of this loss, we can't win the title.

Hell, the 72-10 Chicago Bulls lost to the expansion Toronto Raptors. And they turned out just fine.

This is the reason why I like TLN, instead of other sites because we don't have 20 stupid threads, after every time we lose a game.

People just want a reason to complain. We've had a bad stretch here on the road and have lost to teams that we should've beat, but we're still #1 in the standings in the NBA. The Lakers will be fine.

its becoming obvious kobe trusts bynum more than gasol

i think kobe sees bynum has that special fire in his eyes like him

gasol is a nice complement but when bynum is healthy its clear who the real big man little man combo is

One game doesn't prove anything.

And Kobe trusts Bynum more than Gasol? WTF? How is that obvious?

Ehh kind of ironic, don't you think? This thread doesn't exactly scream "great discussion"...

the way he was feeding bynum was different then he's ever really fed gasol on a consistent basis with gasol he drives and kicks or drives and dumps it off to him in the pick and roll

with bynum he dumped it in and said go to work big fella

Ehh considering we've done almost nothing but win since Pau arrived, I seriously doubt there's any trust issues or anything of that nature between him and Kobe.

Of course he just dumps the ball to Drew. He's a post player. Other than catching lobs and grabbing offensive boards for 2nd chance opportunities, that's basically the extent of Drew's offensive game. Pau just doesn't have the muscle to bang in the paint all game long. And why should he? Pau is more versatile and well-rounded. Why would you want to limit him to dumping the ball and being a post player when he has a great midrange game? I don't see why there's a lack of trust just because Kobe is trying to get Pau wide open looks. That's just smart basketball.

oh noesss we won't win the championship!

haha, i'm guessing thats what 109102901983128 posts in those threads say

but yes, we need bynum back, this game showed exactly why (remember that one play where the blazer bigs got like 3-4 straight offensive rebounds/putback attempts, FRUSTRATING).

Some of the posters here as well as other Laker sites need to loosen the noose around their necks.

It's one game. The Lakers never play well in Portland.

They have showed they can beat the best teams without Bynum on the road. Look at Boston and Cleveland. They have also showed that his inside presence is desperately needed.

But all this whining and moaning is exactly we as fans are hated so much. We are so damn spoiled. We are whining about one big loss even though we still hold the best record. Even though we were the first team to fifty wins, and even though every other team WISHED they could be where the Lakers are right now.
