No!

He's not healthy, he doesn't know the triangle, and he doesn't play defense.

Start Odom at SF, when Bynum comes back.

phil has to start working that way unless he wants to see Lukes turnovers and careless shooting more often that causes us to lose half the time

If we start Morrison, the Celtics, Cavs, Magic and Spurs will all laugh at us.

Luke sucks, but it doesn't mean Morrison is a better option. Morrison won second team because he got the green light to chuck up whatever. He's a good scorer, but an awful defender. More minutes? Yes. Starting? No.

EXACTLY. Morrison shot 37.6% from the field in that season. Third worst on that team and BY FAR the worst of anyone that got reasonable pt.

I agree. More minutes, but no start. Morrison missed an entire year. The Lakers got a big chunk of potential in the trade, but it's going to take an offseason and training camp to develop Morrison to anything near a starter.

I mean, c'mon... The guy's scored 10 points as a Laker. give him some minutes, at least... but he's not fit to start right now.

Phil liked the bench play of Odom, Farmar, Ariza and Sasha early before Drew was hurt. I was even thinking last night why not start Mbenga and move Pau back to PF. Allow Lamar to come off bench though he obviously would play more minutes for DJ than he did for Drew so he still ends up getting same minutes as now when starter. I actually like him at SF too, but I don't believe Phil will remove his boy Luke from the lineup. He has a mancrush or something on Luke and will continue to start him. If he won't start the lineup Nissan has then at least consider DJ and bring Lamar off the bench again, but as I said play him more minutes. He has been getting in a lot of foul trouble as starter lately any way. The reason I said start Morrison is to light a fire under Luke. When the threat of Radman starting was gone it seems luke has gotten complacent. Start Morrison a game or two. As with DJ, doesnt mean you have to play him big minutes if he is struggling as some of you think he would, but at least wake Luke and some of these guys up and see if they can play better. Ariza hasn't seemed to play as well since the trade either at least in my opinion.

Let's see what happens? You'd make a horrible coach.

Let's actually see him get some playing time before we see him start.

I guess he wouldn't get 2 points and 0 rebounds in 25 minutes huh? It may be a stupid idea, but is it really any more stupid than starting Luke over Lamar when Drew was healthy?
