Eddy Curry would welcome a trade out of New York if it meant helping the Knicks.

"I've been here a long time," Curry said Sunday. "I want to see us get better. If it takes my contract to do it, then I would hate to leave, [but] if it results in the Knicks getting better, I'm all for that."

Curry also mentioned that he is eligible to opt out of his contract following the 2009-10 season, though that would mean leaving behind $11.2 million that he would be unlikely to find elsewhere.

I would like to rip him Stephen A. Smith style, but this guy just went through a lot this year it would be harsh even for him...

Well at least he admitted that he is one of the problem...
