They should fight. But De La Hoya just want's all the cash and he knows he can fight a scrub and still make a killing. Pacquiao deserves more respect. Pay the MAN Oscar!

Oscar is giving Pac Man 70-30 payout for the fight... Pac Man has never made close to $30M for one fight. De La Hoya is fighting and promoting the fight... Why should he give Pac Man more money when he's already giving Pac Man a fair deal?

although im against this fight, i have to respectfully disagree playa....floyd got the 70-30 split but there are a few things to consider when understanding the negotiating POV for team pacquiao...first, if you look at floyd's numbers without DLH, they arent impressive...floyd couldnt put 5000 butts IN michigan, where he's from and his ppvs dont really scream blockbuster...2nd, PAC started at 106 and is the current #1 guy in all of boxing...so in essence, he's asking an even smaller fighter than floyd, who is MORE popular than floyd to take the same cut?
a 65-35 split is what pacquiao wants...that 5% basically equates to about $5mil...$5mil that DLH would eventually have to pay in taxes anyway so what's the hold up? he doesnt want any part of Margarito, Cotto is still healing, wants NO part of Pavlik, stutters when they mention Williams' name and all he has left is Sergio Mora...yea, the guy from the Contender that has 5 KOs in 30 bouts...he would be lucky if that fight draws 500K buys..lol
IF DLH wants his farewell to be the grand circus that he wants and get those 1million buys, he's gonna have to pay the midget...he needs to take a page out of Ray Leonard's book and pay the man his due as did leonard when he fought halger

guess how much DLH made from the floyd fight after everything was tallied up...take a deep breath....$58mil compared to PBF's $25mil...if he fights PAC, they should eclipse those numbers and why not pay Manny?
you have to also consider that manny is giving up 4inches in height and 6inches in reach...this could be HIS farewell bout if DLH lands that patended left hook...he's basically risking his career...but hey, here's hoping the fight doesnt happen and PAC stay at 135 to clean house and fights hatton at 140 next year....at the moment, he might not get the golden payday but he has a 3-4 fight plan b that can get that amount anyway
