Clarity is Supreme over Agreement. We may not agree on the better player but the stats do give us more clarity.

Let me remind some people that Kobe has 2 hurt fingers, a hurt ankle and a hyper-extended knee... He is an aging 30 years old athlete (this is not some guy who entered the league at 23), who has played for more than 10 years... Who, at some point of his career, putting up insane numbers to carry a bunch of turds (either they were already out of the league or still sucking) to the PO...

Asking him to attack the rim at a Lebron James' rate is like asking for suicide... Did I even mention that when you have 2 seven footers (now one seven footer and a 6'10), the lane is clogged and it's harder to attack the rim?

good point i forgot about that, Lebron has no one clogging the lane if you wanna look at his team, big z roams to the 3 point line and waits for the catch and shoot, the only person its like varejao who is 95% of the time laying on the floor flopping like a fish to try to get calls.

how do you even start comparing kobe to jesus, everything kobe does gets critisized so don't give me that bull[expletive]. He scores 81, people say he didn't pass enough, he doesn't shoot a lot and becomes playmaker, he's afraid to shoot or he's doing it on purpose. I know how it is, my dad does this every game, kobe sets up a nice shot for someone and they miss, he says he should have shot it himself, he takes a few shots some go in some don't, he says he's a ballhog so i know your kind.

Does anybody else think lakerfool was dropped on his damn head when he was a child?
You are the most brainless, lebron [expletive] riding idiot on these forums man. The moment kobe has a bad game you go and suck lebron off live he's the lollypop flavor of the month.

Do you honestly believe Lebron is a good shooter, or a better shooter then kobe? You've lost your damn mind if you think that.

And just because stats say something, doesn't mean they show the real outcome, would you say because Vujacic is shooting so poorly and has a bad shooting percentage, that if you were to look at Greg Odens stats and notice his shooting percentage is higher that Greg's a better shooting because the stats say so?

You need to start doing your homework bruh. Im tired of reading your dumba$$ posts.

Three days suspension.

Just because people are supporting Bryant doesn't mean you can sling mud at them because you think you're the superior Lakers fan.

I get tired of reading "Well, it's cause LeBron takes more lay-ups" Really? Maybe Kobe should do that too.

maybe you should think before you say that, kobe is older therefore he tries to preserve his body until the playoffs start, he's been in this game long enough to understand this, soon lebron will too then i will say he is on kobe's level, and this isn't laker fans vs kobe knobslobbers, its laker fans vs laker fans that support their players over others hop on board someday you might actually go through life without hating yourself.

Maybe Chris Paul should dunk more often. It would help his percentages, and he would be a better scorer. He can dunk.

The way I see it is this: Kobe could always drive to the basket whenever he wants to, but that will take more of his energy away. A simple jumpshot would suffice and it's not like he doesn't make them. Back then, Kobe would always take it to the rim, just like how LBJ is doing now. It comes with the excitement when you're young and want to hammer it down. Kobe is older now and isn't as explosive as before, so he picks his times that he does drive the ball, or when they need a foul called.

I get tired of talking about this stuff, because no one wins, and i hate it. No matter how many facts i bring into it, someone always finds something new to say to try to disprove the fact that kobe is still the best in the game right now.

Never. Bball would be nothing without comparisons

Yea I agree, but Kobe's gotta stop shooting over people so bad. Open jumpers are better.

With a mentality that Kobe has (the "I'll make this shot" mentality), it's hard for him to pass up an opportunity to shoot and score. Of course sometimes he puts us in difficult situations, but you can't deny the times that he has actually made those impossible shots and have bailed his team out. You live and die by the jumper.

Nah he gets some, and I said it wrong I meant moreso when he either gets a pass with some space, or creates his own spacing with his moves. I don't like when he just stands there and pops it, or just walks up and pops in their face.
