I don't even want to think about that day. I won't cry just because i have some kind of problem where i can't cry no matter what, but i will be very sad.

When he's asked why Kobe doesn't tweet, @thugraider37 said he offers this reply: "Does God tweet?"

It's funny that someone brought up the Rashad piece on Kobe before the draft. I remember that very well.

It should be noted that I became a Lakers fan because of Kobe. Being born in Kansas, my family loved football (the Chiefs). I became a Raiders fan because I was sick of them, but basketball was introduced to me by my cousin, who loved Michael Jordan.

Jordan was everything to me, but I picked to root for the Phoenix Suns because of their logo (no idea why). Barkley went there in 1992, and I became the biggest fan.

Well, I started playing basketball, seriously, when I was 10. My cousin beat my ass all the time, to get me ready for leagues and such. He gave me tapes of players, and he had two of Kobe from a feature they did on TV (of his senior year) and something else. Kobe became my favorite player, and I wanted to play exactly like him.

Once the Lakers dealt Divac to get Bryant, they were my team.

Yeah, I'm probably a Kobe jocker, but I'm pretty realistic and know that LeBron is lurking. But being a big, big fan of him and having my favorite team determined by Bryant is going to be huge for me when he retires.

I don't know how I'm going to feel the day the Lakers play a game after Kobe is retired. I probably won't be able to watch, honestly. I love my Lakers... But I grew up with Kobe. Seeing him go is going to be very, very tough. :(

This is going to be a very very sad day for me, i was born in 1991 and watched lakers right away but to be honest i was just a baby and i dont remember any of it. I will never forget this, the first real thing i remember is when we traded vlade away for Kobe, i saw him play i saw him miss those air balls against utah, i have grown up with kobe and seen his game change his mentality change...
KObe is as much a part of my life as school, and the day he retires will be a sad day in lakers history...
