Which player would you least like to have on your team?

Stephon Marbury, Celtics G.....22%
Ron Artest, Rockets F.....9%
Stephen Jackson, Warriors F/G.....5%
Kobe Bryant, Lakers G.....5%
Gilbert Arenas, Wizards G.....5%

[Based on a survey of 190 NBA players]

FAST FACTS: Poll was completed before Boston claimed Marbury on waivers last week.... Tracy McGrady tied for fifth; with him out with a knee injury, the Rockets had gone 8–1 at week's end.... Jackson has been on five teams in his nine-year career.... Arenas hasn't played since signing a six-year, $111 million deal last July (knee surgery); in '06–07 his 1,548 shots were fourth in the NBA.

This is an NBA poll from the March 9, 2009 issue of Sports Illustrated.

What's your take on this poll?

In defense of Gil, his coach gave him the green light to chuck...

Anyways, I choose Brian Scalabrine by a thousand miles... He is a waste of roster spot, oxygen, and flat out garbage... I rather give Luke Walton 40 minutes of playing time than to sign this buffoon to fetch gatorades... If I were his mother, I would DISOWN him...

Lmao, i'm playing against a dude who has Gil on his fantasy team.. he's a backup tho.

Dude is still kicking my [expletive] mostly because Nate-Nate is out. But heck, he's got D-wade (70 fantasy points tonight) and VC, J-Kidd, Villanueva (they average over 30 a week).

How bad [expletive] was the 2004 Indiana Pacers. Stephon Jackson and Ron Artest. That brawl was crazy.

Zach Randolph
Stephon Marbury
Quentin Richardson
Jared Jeffries
Jamal Crawford
Jerome James
Nate Robinson

Nutcase City...

This seems about right. Starbury just owned everyone right there.

Comments:

I can understand why people would say Kobe. He's a great player, but he seems extremely cold towards his teammates. Watch LeBron with his teammates and he comes across as warm and friendly. And it shows in the way they play too: Kobe plays a lot more selfishly than LeBron.

Total fail, Kobe is very friendly with his teammates when he has to be, and he is strict at the right times.
