Houstons playing well, 2 of our bigs are down, no homecourt to save us, coming off a huge loss, and Houston will bring the pain.
It's gonna be ugly.

How did rap music go from really good to so dry?
Real artists get shelved and whack one's get famous
To leave masses brainless, a smart mind is dangerous
In their eyes there probably ain't no real [expletive] in your playlist
You're just a product of what the government has created

Defensively... The bigs HAVE to stay out of foul trouble. Very thin there with Lamar suspended, only 3 guys 6'9" and over. Yikes. Three point shooters have to be contested; Wafer, Brooks, Battier, Barry could really light it up. They need to be wary of Adelman's motion offense when they decide to actually run those sets, not losing their guy on off ball movement. Against the very active Scola and Landry at PF we cannot be weak or lazy in the paint when rebounding. Their mid range game has to be respected too. I figure Luke will be on Artest. He plays better against bruiser, bulky players but I try not to expect much from him. Fisher and Farmar guarding Brooks and Lowry... let's just hope that help will come. If Yao is going off, the best solution is to front him. Houston is terrible at countering this. If they try it, they need to pressure the post passer better than they usually do. They'll likely double at some point so they need to cover for each other with more purpose instead of like chickens with their heads cut off or sloths. When they do double Yao, they can't be passive about it. He's not a proficient passer out of aggressive double teams.
Offensively... Everyone needs to move, not ball watch and be contributors (particularly Fish, Sasha, Jordan, Powell and Trevor) because Houston digs in defensively. They will make our big two work hard for everything. The Rockets, having capable defenders, don't need to double (though they might). Lakers have to get as many easy transition points as they can. Yao and Mutombo in the paint make it difficult to get anything going near the rim so hopefully Pau has his mid range going and is quick and decisive getting to the basket. I hope they're planning on putting Yao in as many pick and rolls as possible, try to get him in foul trouble, and/or run him ragged. Kobe cannot try to do too much one on one against Battier. He will be face guarded all night and Battier is very disciplined in staying down when Kobe pump fakes. I don't think Artest is as good of a defender as Shane but still better than most. Kobe has to have an efficient shooting night especially with them taking him out of his comfort zones.
Lakers need to reestablish good execution and consistency on the road. I'm really curious how they'll come out after, IMO, their worst loss of the season. Will they show heart and grit? WIN, please.
