The volume of my speakers was down so I didn't notice anything :(, but surely there was something like that ;)

Yours is amazing. Very impressive. I'm going to keep mine, though. sweet and simple.

Props to Mbenga for improving his game this year. He was nothing more than a scrub last year, but his hard work has paid off and has been a pleasant surprise. Albeit it's mostly in garbage time, he does have to start somewhere. Still not a rotation player though when we're fully healthy.

DJ is a blocking machine. I think he can stop those speedy guards from getting easy layups. He'll probably foul out in most of the games, but I'm OK with him if he gives the team those 3-4 blocks 5-6+ rebounds 4-6 points a game. Those numbers may not be flashy, but the fact is that even with his presence, DJ brings a lot of energy, which is transfered to other players too. With DJ on the court, Pau will get some rest for the playoffs, although I don't see Pau resting a lot in the next 3 weeks...

^3-4 blocks? Keep dreaming. Well maybe if he continues to pick up those blocks in garbage time, but 3-4 blocks is way out there. Dwight Howard, the potential and probable DPotY, gets less than 3 blocks a game.

I hope he is more than a garbage time superstar and fan favorite....so that in BIG games his impact will b felt, in a positive manner for the LAKERS
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Mbenga needs to keep getting this sort of playing time. He is the future backup C of the Lakers.
