Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden is expected to miss at least another week because of a bone chip in his left knee.

Seriously. I don't think he's played 20 games in a row

And to think, when the Hawks got the #3 pick, I was happy; but, also said at the time that it was fitting that Atlanta had the first pick in the draft that could possibly be screwed up.

As it turned out, Portland had the real, tough decision, taking the exciting player (Durant), versus the "dominant big" who already had an injury history.

As for the Hawks, they shrewdly took Horford, and resisted the temptation to take a point guard (Conley), and now are developing a legit 3rd option and defensive anchor as the look to lock-up the East's #4 seed, and hopefully have a play-off run that extends to at least mid-May.

I feel bad for Oden. I don't think there's a single reason not to root for this guy (other than the fact that he's a Blazer).
