With just hours to spare before Sunday's midnight deadline, the Oklahoma City Thunder and Joe Smith reached terms on a buyout agreement. He will be put on waivers Monday morning and is expected to clear them 48 hours later. Several league sources said Smith is then expected to sign with the Cavs for the rest of the season.

I'd love to have Joe Smith on the team.

One of the most underrated players in the NBA because of how high he was drafted, not living up to expectations. He always plays defense, and always does it well, rebounds, hits the outside shot. Ideal role player. We could use somebody like him.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

True.

Smith does a lot of dirty work for the teams he plays for, and doesn't get noticed for it as much as he should. Powell is nice to have as a backup, but Joe Smith is consistently good.
