There are mounting rumors that the Cavaliers might be interested in a "surprise" free agent.

Cleveland has long been linked to Oklahoma City's Joe Smith, who is reportedly close to a buyout, but another well-known veteran forward could hit the market.

A source said that the player's name would "surprise" a lot of people should he receive a buyout and become a free agent.

I believe it's gonna be Joe Smith, people said it might be Rasheed and Gooden, I don't know where they got it from.

Gooden and Smith are by NO WAY surprise guys to get cut.

It will be Sheed. Detroit's economy is in the hole. The average price of a house there is around 20,000. I can easily see them waiving sheed to save a few.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

Detroit is in the PO hunt so they have to keep him. Getting in the PO's will more than compensate the little they save through a buyout. I would love him to be a laker though at least for one year and for a cheap price.
