The Houston Rockets waived guard Luther Head before the team played in Chicago on Saturday, the Associated Press is reporting.

Head appeared in only 22 games this season and has been out since Jan. 10 with a right foot injury.

Wasn't he a good 3 pt shooter last season? I know he's injured. Some team might be gladly take him off FA.

I'd love him to be on the Lakers. He was hitting the 3 well last season and is a really good athlete.

Actually he might. He's much more athletic, a much better defender having been coached by JVG. He's fallen out of favor of Adelman due to his inability to create for his teammates (which is understandable considering how well Brooks is doing).

This guy has triangle pg written all over him.

No thanks. He's garbage in the playoffs. We already have one garbage player on this team. We don't need another garbage player.
