PEople react this Loss as there's no tomorrow. We can build up another streak, and once Bynum comes back it'll be just like beginning of season.

I don't think anyone's freaking out about this loss... you can tell the team played like they didn't care... no discipline out there. Especially Kobe, just jackin' up shots quick.

It's a bit worrisome that the guys would "take the night off", but nothing to really worry about long term... the Nuggets are a pretty good team.

We got Phoenix though tomorrow...

We almost set a franchise record for the worst shooting percentage. That is not the refs. Oh well. On to the next game.

Yea Lakers lost it, refs were balls awful, Chris Henderson brings a new stat to the boxscore by averaging 4 goal tending plays a game that don't get called. Denver home broadcasters should never be allowed to pollute the airwaves again. Or what Phil said.
The best sports franchise in the world.

Anyone who blames this game on the refs may need to take off their Lakers goggles, or get them repaired. We lost this one. Plain and simple.

Just be thankful to the Rockets and Clippers for making this loss easier to swallow.

"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

We had it until Farmar made that dunk.

Comparisons of Last night to the Franchise all-time low

Lakers Shot: 28-94 Last night
Lakers Shot: 20-68 2004

Lakers Scored: 79 Last Night
Lakers Scored: 78 2004

Lakers Allowed: 90 on 30-72 shooting Last night
Lakers Allowed 104 on 38-75 shooting 2004

A closer comparison of last nights performance would be this game

The refs called some bad ones but it was the energy that killed us.
