Kobe, 21 FGA/game
LeBron, 20 FGA/game

LeBron 7 assists/game
Kobe 5 assists/game

Nothing indicates that LeBron is more selfish than Kobe. Their FGA is essentially identical with Kobe shooting 1 more, and LeBron gets 2 more assists a game with an inferior squad, while Kobe has Gasol, a future HOFer and another top 10 MVP candidate next to him.

while I do agree that bronbron has the inferior squad, his team is equipped with some pretty darn good shooters -- Wally, delonte west, mo williams, gibson, pavlovic, big Z (brons pick and pop play with him is money), and even varejao who can *occasionally* hit the mid range J. +++ Lebrons ability to draw doubles and kick it out.

I don't care what ESPN or any of their employees think about the Lakers. I could care less what they say about the Lakers... I don't even watch ESPN, unless my favorite teams are playing on ESPN.

lakerfool, kobe doesn't get assists piled up cause of the triangle. LeBron has the ball in his hands 24/7, kobe has it to either wind down the clock, or a catch and iso/shoot

Why wasn't Kobe dominant in assists in the olympics then?
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

I'm looking for facts. Kobe has a superior jumper, and is a better scorer than LeBron. But don't say he's a better passer when the facts show he's not.

It's interesting that Hollinger talks about Lebron having one of the greatest seasons of all time; yet, he was completely outclassed by Kobe in both of the head2head match-ups this year.

Especially the game in Cleveland, you could easily see the who the better player was.

yes, but he was also turning the ball over at an alarming rate. however, he was also getting a lot of offensive fouls that season (count as TO's). that was just a strange year, all around.

what i don't get is when kobe scored 50+ points for 4 games and led the league in scoring, it was "the mvp isn't about scoring...." but when lebron scored 50, the whole world gets amazed and he's suddenly the mvp..
who they want? they want Kobe
and what he want? he want the trophy

He was playing like the MVP before that.

How many people would choose Deron Williams over Chris Paul? Who wins those head to head matchups? Why does that prove who is the better player?
