Tom (Cleveland): If Kobe Bryant won the MVP over LeBron this year, would it be the biggest MVP joke of all time?

SportsNation John Hollinger: It would be up there, but it wouldn't be the worst. To cite two recent examples, Nash's second one and Iverson's were more egregious errors.

Jay (Detroit, MI): How is Kobe winning it a joke? His stats are on-par with LeBrons and his team has a better record. Not to mention his pension for late-game heroics this season. You are a Kobe-h ater...

SportsNation John Hollinger: If a vote were held today and Kobe won, with LeBron having one of the single greatest seasons of all time (arguably the greatest, in fact) and his team having a basically identical record with a visibly inferior supporting cast ... yes, that would be an abomination of a vote.

Craig (PA): How are people most surprised about cleveland being behind the C's and not comment how low you have the lakers? Isn't it odd that you feel (due to your playoff odds) that kobe and co. have less than a 1/5 shot at winning it all?

SportsNation John Hollinger: The 1/5 shot feels low to me, sure, but that's also because the Odds don't necessarily see L.A. having home court when the season ends.

So he thinks if Kobe wins MVP again is a joke? And the Lakers have less than 20% chance of winning another NBA Championship? How the hell does this guy still have a job?

I wish all those BSPN homers would just come out and put their Boston jerseys on when they do the reports, chats etc. Hollinger, Simmons, Colin Cownerd, Peter Gammons and all the other Boston fans who work at BSPN make me sick. I wish someone else would buy BSPN and fire all the Boston homers there.

He said 1 in 5 is low so isn't he saying the Lakers chances are better than that?

Someone sure has knowledge about the NBA to be making statements about what is a joke... but then again it's Hollinger. The end.

the biggest joke isn't Kobe winning MVP, it is any article written by Hollinger or any statement that comes out of his mouth.
