so right now we're 48-10 with 24 games to go. Can the Lakers win the last 24 games in a row?
I think we're gonna be 65-17 - 68-14

69-13 is what i said during the all-star break, im hoping for that 72-10 but realistically, it won't happen.

I only see us losing about 4 more games. 5 at the most.

And they will of course be loses against scrub teams. That's just the way the Lakers roll.

Unless we sustain another injury to a key player, the los angeles Lakers will end this season with the best record, not only in the west but overall. No question about it.

I'm not even contemplating a 30 game winning streak, I just don't see it happening. I am however looking forward to at least an 8 game winning streak. Maybe even 10, but that may be a little greedy.
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

We'll have 65+ at least. Anything less would be because we lost to a scrub team or something.

I also expect a 65+ win also. We're done with Boston and Cle this season unless we meet one of em in finals.

Assuming we get to the Finals. ;) Those two teams because they're in the East are Sonny blessed with a chance.

Haha. I'm also a little guilty of looking at the standings often. It just looks so beautiful.

I don't care about the record as long as we're in first place overall and have everyone healthy entering the playoffs

Still hoping we get the all time record, but most likely don't see us losing more than 5 games.

I don't know, but Lakers have a high possibility of losing tonight. Lakers probably got into Colorado at 2 AM if their flight was at midnight PST. Hopefully they prove me wrong and win by 15+

We'd have to win 30 in a row to do that (tie it), you think so?

it would be nice to see Lakers to win 34 in a row and set a new record. Beating the Lakers old team and NBA record. it would mean Lakers had 2 seven game winning streaks and the 34, Absolutely amazing.

I wish.. We won't have to play Cavs, Magic and Celtics anymore tho. But we can't slip against the scrub teams again either.

69 wins.....;)
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers
