EL SEGUNDO - Lakers coach Phil Jackson was unable to provide a concise update on injured center Andrew Bynum’s condition because Bynum did not show up for Wednesday’s practice.

Although Jackson said is it was possible that Bynum did not know that the players were required to be at the practice facility by 11 a.m., Jackson added that Bynum could have called and found out the time but apparently he did not. Jackson said the situation would be dealt with.

It's one practice, how much did he truly miss.....

If he was chilling at home resting his knee that's a good thing.

It's also possible that if Bynum didn't think the players were required to show, that he scheduled a rehab session with his trainer or something.

People are really takiing Drew's side. I was being sarcastic, but I still think the coach should know where u are during a scheduled practice. they obviously want him to stay healthy and in contact, but I am not criticizing the Big Fel.....naw i cant give him that distinction quite yet. The Big Guy

honestly, when you're making that kind of bread, you show up every day... or at least call... and if that is too hard, hire someone to get on top of it.
