Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy will have arthroscopic knee surgery on Thursday to repair a tear in the meniscus of his left knee, according to an Associated Press report.

Man, I really hope he is able to come back before the season starts. Would be a shame to see him miss out the start of the season especially with the up and coming team they have...

Roy will be on the shelf for 4-6 weeks and he should be back in time for training camp / seasons beginning.
