you know, i keep on forgetting we have shannon brown and morrison too. not that they are all star players but our bench is really really deep. still, having to deal with starbury after rondo goes to the bench is killer.
hell just sign marbury away so we dont have to deal with him as a celtic.

But the question is.................Can they both be Productive? Or are they just Hood ornaments like Ira Newble was ???

they're adding veteran talent to this team. Yea one of them could turn out to be a locker room headache but he boosted their depth in the guard spot right now.

True...............plus for us is that marbury is a cancer in a locker room, bad chemistry is his middle name...but i dont think he will be that with Boston....

believe they can be. like powell was before he was getting substantial playing time, we didnt know, much about him but we saw glimpses of how good he was. Brown, could be that unknown factor who could come off the bench and play some great solid d but who knows? Morrison, if he ever regains that rookie year play, he is one deadly bench player. they can both be productive, they just need the chance.

yea, but the only way thats gonna happen if we are up by 30 something points.
thats what happens when you got fisher, farmar as ur point guards. then LO, luke, ariza and sometimes kobe playing SF. u cant give pt to everyone.

Word is that we're also interested in him also. I hope we will be able to sign him.

The New York Knicks and Stephon Marbury reached an agreement on a buyout on Tuesday and he has subsequently been waived.

The following is a joint statement released to the media on behalf of the Knicks and Marbury: “A comprehensive agreement was made this afternoon between the New York Knicks and Stephon Marbury. Under its terms, the grievance has been resolved and the Knicks have requested waivers on Stephon. No additional terms will be disclosed.”

Damn Knicks. Basically helping out their rivals, and doing a favor for a guy who's been disrespectful to their front office over the years...

LOL at people thinking he'll destroy the chemistry of a championship caliber team with 3 all-star veterans. It isn't going to happen. We still have more depth, but the C's will be gaining a huge talent if they do get him.

Marbury doesn't put them over the top.

I guess everyone is assuming he's going to come into a new team at this stage of the season in top form and ready for the playoffs with limited playing time and a limited role.

There's no denial here. The plain fact is that Marbury is nothing more than a Tyronn Lue level signing at this point. He could hurt them chemistry wise, but he certainly doesn't make them any more powerful than they were before.

Moore is more of a key signing for them than Marbury will ever be.
