They already have three superstars, not stars, superstars and all stars in Pierce, KG, & Jesus Shuttlesworth, now Marbury, another star, maybe not superstar or all star, but star for sure. Ridiculous.

^ Unfortunately, I HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt that will happen. I'm almost 100% sure, sadly.

I don't think it's a big risk at all. I wish it were, but again, all that talk of Marbury messing things up is HIGHLY overrated. If he starts to mess things up, they simply will stop playing him or do away with him somehow, not very difficult, they'll find a way. Either way, dude knows he's joining a championship caliber type team and he won't wanna' mess ish up cuz he wants a ring. The rich get ridiculously richer.

It's not a big risk because he's going to be coming off the bench and he's going to sign a vet. minimum contract. The Celtics can always cut him if he's being a trouble maker.

Good pickup for Celtics if he signs.

Marbury isn't going to ruin a chance of winning a NBA Championship by being a troublemaker.

yea but at this late in the season if you destroy chemistry, it will be hard to get it back. I think it will work out for them

Of course, there's the chance he will say bad things about them AFTER he is cut...

you know, i keep on forgetting we have shannon brown and morrison too. not that they are all star players but our bench is really really deep. still, having to deal with starbury after rondo goes to the bench is killer.
hell just sign marbury away so we dont have to deal with him as a celtic.

there is a difference.

Doc is more player friendly while Phil jackson doesn't play guys unless they work well in the triangle

And since most newbies have a hard time grasping it at first (who doesn't), he doesn't play them until they grasp it

Sign him ASAP before he goes to help the enemy.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever
