Yeah I still believe we have an opportunity at em but it will be tough. I am more worried about the title though and not the regular season wins

a full, healthy squad in April > 70 wins

IMO, this team can with it all with or without HCA

No, because we don't play defense, our pick and roll defense is horrible, and we don't guard 3 point shooters.

We struggled last night to beat the T-Wolves without Jefferson.

^ We don't play serious enough against below .500 teams...

Let's chase the title rather than the regular season records ;). Everything is possible for the Lakers, but there are things that are more important than those 70 wins...

yea what we're really missing is a killer mentality. Kobe and Pau have it but the rest tend to sag off and we can't do that anymore. We need to be blowing teams out by 40+ every night! We have the talent to do so.

I said it when Celtics were 27-2, no team will win 70 games, so no.

They can do it. But they really need to start being consistent on the defensive end.

No way man. Just no way.

Seriously if anyone is actually expecting this... I suggest you not get your hopes to high, because it's not happening.

We will lose. To whom, I do not know. Most likely to a crap team that will be on fire, or some punk up and comer having a freaking career night... ugh
"If you could stop all the players that get publicized and all the players that the NBA likes and all the players, you know, the players that win the MVP's, you know, for their offense. And some of them, you know, play pretty good defense too. But some of them, you know, they like "this guy he can shoot, he can score, he can dunk." and I want to be the one to stop all those guys, you know, and just kinda spoil the whole party." - Ron Artest

Our weakness is definately the Opponents 3 pointers. I guess Phil doesn't teach that D.

Pau has the killer mentality?

He's soft and usually doesn't show up in the 4th quarter, in big games, unless Kobe gives him layups and dunks.

20-6 seems more realistic.
"The way Steve is as a teammate, the way he sets the tone, the way the team kind of takes on his persona. As a coach, that's the best thing in the world. It's easy to coach. He's taking care of the chemistry. You just coach."

the sad truth thats the thing IMO that still seperates tim from pau he is just better in the 4th than pau

i mean fisher, kobe, lamarr, bynum, ariza all usually have more of an impact in the 4th quarter
