Joe Smith, who would like to be bought out by the Thunder in order to sign as a free agent by the Boston Celtics, a source told ESPN.com late Wednesday night.

cavs might grab him too..and he knows the system pretty well having played there, he would fit in better with them

I'd say its a toss up between the Cavs and Celtics. Cavs are one of the best teams in the NBA. Joe knows the system that their running. As for the Celtics, I think Joe not only wants a ring in Boston but he also wants to play along side with his close friend, Kevin Garnett who he played with a few years in Minnesota.

there should be a rule against this...if he wants to go to the celtics, then he can wait til next season :angry:

Joe Smith isn't some over the top player for the Celtics. If he wants to lose in the Finals, let him.
