I'm honestly sorry to see Mihm go - he's a really solid guy. Obviously it his basketball skills hadn't really caught up with him after the ankle injury

Lakers save some cash, get a trade exception and open a roster spot.
Thanks
Eric

I hope Mitch uses both trade exceptions next year.
Do you think the Lakers will sign a big after the trade deadline?

I thought trade exceptions don't carry on to the next season...Thanks Eric.

horry isn't a horrible idea
lakers would need more than morrison at the 3 if trevor left - it's all about defense and morrison has none

Helps on the arc, gives a vet presence and is great PR for the championship run.
Plus Horry wins a ring pretty much every other year and this would a nice dose of good luck.

I'm actually going to miss Mihm. When Shaq left, he was actually a really good Center before he had that major ankle surgery. He worked hard, got rebounds, scored here and there, and overall did his job when he was healthy. It's sad to see him deteriorate from the ankle surgery because I'm sure he would be starting over Kwame at the time if he hadn't had that surgery.
Wish him the best.
Sad to see him go. Best wishes, Chris.

Great to see this scrub leave. Now its time for Walton to leave also.
Make it happen Mitch....
Walton's not going anywhere, especially not if Phil Jackson is still coaching this team. Lakers fans need to get that through their head.

Yeah between Phil and Mitch's love for him and his long contract they aren't going to trade him nor could they if they wanted to in my opinion barring taking back another similar contract.Walton's not going anywhere, especially not if Phil Jackson is still coaching this team. Lakers fans need to get that through their head.
