Here's a link for it:

The season has been a major disappointment for Tracy McGrady and the Houston Rockets. It might have just gotten worse.

The forward told ESPN.com's Stephen A. Smith on Tuesday that his troublesome left knee will end his season and that he will undergo microfracture surgery.

McGrady's name had come up earlier Tuesday in reported trade discussions between the Rockets and New Jersey Nets. The Nets were leery of McGrady's contract and health in discussions involving Nets forward Vince Carter.

McGrady had arthroscopic surgery on the knee last May and has been slow to recover. The seven-time All-Star missed much of January trying to get the knee back in shape and had an MRI last week to try to discover why it was still bothering him.

"The last couple of games, I've regressed," McGrady said during halftime of last Wednesday's game. "I've felt pain."

Right before the trade deadline. Interesting.... this article was released on realgm earlier today, this is from Leslie Alexander, Owner of the Rockets:

“I don’t think we’re going to part ways with Tracy,” Alexander said. “Everybody wants us to. We acquired a great superstar, and everybody wants us to trade the great superstar. You don’t get superstars that often.

“Daryl (Morey, the Rockets’ general manager) and I were talking this morning. We both discussed how great Tracy is in the playoffs. There’s very few people who have the ability to step up their games in the playoffs, and he does. So we’re not looking to run away from Tracy. I always thought he was injured and has problems. There will be more news coming out in the next couple days. He’s a great player when he’s healthy and a great competitor.”

Then the news of McGrady being out for the season is released

Seems like he'll never catch a break, it's incredible how fragile he is.

It sucks though. He might have one more run after this left in him but he's pretty much done. He's one of my favorite players too.

The next thing we'll hear is that Yao is hurt or something.

How unusual?

Houston needs to do what the Blazers did. Clean house, and strat over. What they tried didn't work and them holding onto the remnants of it is going to do nothing but sink them into the NBA muck further.

Never.

That's right. The most games he played during a season was 79 during the 99-00 season. He played 35 games this season, which is a career-low. Poor T-Mac... I feel sorry for him. There goes the playoff hopes for the Rockets. I can't see them get past 1st round......

T-Mac started out great, with his own game and such, but can never sustain it...you guys think he should just retire early? =/
