Lakers are 24-0 when they combine for 44 rebounds or more a game
Lakers are 20-0 When they combine for 25 assists or more a game
Lakers are 20-0 When they combine for 34 or more defensive rebounds
When Chris mhim plays over 2 minutes and 16 seconds. Lakers are 15-0
Lakers are 32-1 when committing 21 or less fouls a game

More will be added I guess.

15-0 when Luke plays more than 19 minutes
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Ehh looks like a bunch of fluff stats. All they tell us is that when we play well, we win. But do we really need stats to tell us that? I think that's pretty obvious...

Another jab at me? I apologize for voicing my opinion. (no, not really)

Sure these stats look impressive, but do these stats really tell us something we already didn't know? What do these stats tell us? If we protect the boards, if we move the ball around to get easier opportunities, if we play solid defense keeping fouls to a minimum, then yea we'll win games. Basically, if we play our brand of basketball, we'll win. If you know the game of basketball, then that should all be common sense. And Mihm has really only played in garbage time, when games are usually already decided, so yes it makes sense that we won all those games. These stats just confirm common basketball sense, but reveal nothing we don't already know.

If you don't like my "negative" posts, then too bad. Just ignore them. If you think I'm wrong, then present your reasons and some counter-arguments. No need for taking jabs.

Okay.
Celtics are 32-2 when scoring 100 or more
Celtics are 21-3 when rebounding 44 or more a game
Celtics are 24-3 when havign 25 or more assists.

Lakers have a sure lock (win) when having the stats above..Celtics the next best team still isn't playing as consistently.

I agree the stats are pretty useless, but it's cool to know.

If Odom gets 17+ rebounds tonight, someone will make a thread that Odom has 5 games in a row with 17+ rebounds, which is the best 5 game performance on the boards from any Laker in history. That's pretty useless, but it will be more attention than these.

Ehh no, it isn't a sure lock if we get those numbers. So far, we've won when getting 44 rebounds and 25 assists, but that doesn't mean if we hit those numbers in our future games, we have a sure lock win. All you are doing is manipulating the stats. If we lose our next 5 games where we get 44 rebounds, you can easily just adjust it to say "we are undefeated when we have 45 rebounds", and so on. Just finding stats is one thing, but analyzing and interpreting them is whole other animal. You're good with the former.

Read the title, I wasn't going to elaborate on anything except give you stats.
