yes, i bought two...one for my computer to sit in, and one for me...

or was that some kind of vague masturbation joke, lol...i'm a little confused

the chair is awesome though! leather so i'll be able to keep it clean, very comfortable, well padded on the seat, lumbar support...the fact that the stand isn't plastic makes it very durable, and its "high back" so it goes all the way up to the back of my head, and has extra padding up there for a headrest...as much time as i spend at my desk when i'm in my room (my computer and TV are there) it was money well spent

i could be very creative...i just too lazy, busy to run through hundreds of possible scnarios of what you could be talking about...i didn't think sex initially because sex in chairs with arms on them leave limited options, unless you're going with the sitting reverse cowgirl and i've already been there and done that. my bed is too awesome to really want to go anywhere else more than occasionally...its the perfect height if ya know what i mean...but i digress...

Just wondering what does everyone use for a mouse pad? Looking for a nice gaming surface one... but it seems all the ones i've come across are just too big.

I've got a Samsung T260 25.5 inch 1080p LCD desktop monitor that also works as a Tv. It's freakin' AWESOME!

Ubuntu is a pretty solid release and very user-friendly...

Just waiting for a Summer keynote, and I'll be buying the damn thing. Can't wait. I've had this Gateway PC since later 2003, so I'm really happy about finally upgrading to something 10x better.

That's beside the point though. I can get a windows laptop a lot more powerful than a macbook for a cheaper price? And I can just run linux off it? Sure, why not.

All I can say is, after 10+ years of using a PC, I finally got a Mac last year and no regrets at all, even the pricetag. It doesn't look like I will be going back to PC ever again, even using my mom's HP laptop pisses me off.

I've used a Mac for at least 9 years, windows for at least 11 years, and Linux for about 4 years, and I'm a proud windows user. Even with vista, I haven't ran into any problems. I could even install Mac OS on my laptop if I wanted to, but I really don't care for it. Windows is just better for those who do a lot on their computer.

so for some reason alot of the pics here on tln arent showing up for me. theyre those red X's instead. i thought it was my IE so i deleted my browsing history. did nothing.

i downloaded firefox, and even on here, same problem except the pictures just dont show up at all. no Xs

i ran a virus checker and deleted any viruses. still doing it.

any advice?

do you have an pop-up/ad blocking software...i've ran into some of those that mistake normal images, and gifs for ads and block them...just a random guess though

i'm with daco on windows...i've had no issues with vista, though i've only been using 64 bit ultimate for about 3 months...other than having to buy and install a new wireless card (which isn't a bad thing because i get a better signal now) i've had a good experience with it. i think i asked in here already, but what were the problems that everyone else seemed to have with it?
