Oh i thought you meant if you reformatted. Well the only way to return in back to factory settings without recovery discs or partition is to do a system restore. start menu - all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore. I don't know if there's a hotkey associated with it, but sys restore is the only way to do it without discs. Just hope you have it enabled, and that you have a restore point that has the original factory settings.I lost the CD's. I did it once, but forgot how. Which one? Try to wait until around August or September to get one. Apple usually has those back to school specials where they include an iPod with a computer purchase.I'm purchasing my first MacBook during the summer. Can't wait!

Yeah, I might just do that. I'm getting it right after there's a Apple Keynote, whenever that is. Since usually that's when they announce new products and such.Which one? I'm looking into getting the 2.0GHz Aluminum MacBook. I was thinking of buying the Pro, but I don't do any video or or much image (Photoshop) editing. So, I should be fine with the MacBook, right?

Do you have a Dell? If so, right after you see the two prompts for F2 and F12 at the bottom of the screen during startup, hit CTRL + F11, then let up. It should take you to the restore system.

That's what I have right now and I am loving it. I usually have Safari, iChat, iTunes, and Photoshop on at the same time and it runs great, no lag whatsoever.I'm looking into getting the 2.0GHz Aluminum MacBook. Just waiting for a Summer keynote, and I'll be buying the damn thing. Can't wait. I've had this Gateway PC since later 2003, so I'm really happy about finally upgrading to something 10x better.

How much gigs of space do you guys own?
80gb primary drive - Windows/programs/OS related
1.5tb secondary drive - EVERYTHING goes in here. Movies, TV shows, DVD rips, music, photos, applications
1.5tb external drive - Backup of the secondary drive
750gb external drive - Music & pictures. Secretly hidden offsite incase the house burns down.
500gb external drive - Lakers videos & anything sports related
320gb portable drive - School related stuff
16gb thumb drive - misc stuff
Over 4.6tb total. I'm a geek.

I'm printing my PowerPoint slides - 6 to a page. And I need to number the pages. I have 12 slides, so I'll get 2 pages printed. Now this comes in the middle of my senior career portfolio, and it'll be be page 16-17. I don't know how to set the page numbers to where it needs to start.

Hope someone here knows
