even though it is unlikely, and by unlikely i mean it won't happen, a Pau and Lamar for Lebron and X (probably have to be Wallace and his contract) is very intriguing.
the man still has very poor footwork though. . at least in comparison to Kobe

ONLY player in the league I would trade Kobe for.
I would still say Kobe is better than LeBron by far but next year or the year after that the King will reign supreme in the NBA.
I agree.
I love Kobe more than anyone in the league, but LeBron is younger and therefore has more value.
You say he is the only player you would trade Kobe for, but if we didn't have Bynum, would you trade Kobe for Dwight Howard?

no I wouldn't. Dwight is too raw...he lives and dies by his dunking offensively and isn't a very good defender. Yes, he grabs a lot of rebounds and is one of the top athletes I have EVER seen in the NBA but Kobe is a one man machine...like LeBron and maybe Wade.
Dwight Howard is a little Kwame-esque from the FT line and he can't make layups. He also gets blocked often and has no post moves whatsoever.
Ya I sound like Dwight sucks. of course he doesn't but he lacks basketball fundamentals that Bynum for example has. Hook shots, good FT stroke, foot work, keeping the ball high....Howard gets stripped a lot because he dribbles way too low for a bigman.

Now about your statement, Kobe is so far ahead of bron I can't see lebron really being better than him for AT LEAST another 4 years. Kobe is just kobe and he will continue to be so with this great team we have especially.

I pretty much agree with you.

Yes, but Kobe's prime is coming to an end. It hasn't ended yet, but it's ending. LeBron is a good few years behind his prime. It's value for the trade you see. I don't think LeBron will be as good as Kobe, but he will be an NBA Superstar. If you can get a 23 year old future NBA Superstar for a soon to be 30 year old NBA Superstaer, I think it's a good value for trade.
Of course, I love Kobe too much to trade him.

dont get me wrong. i love kobe. but every year lebron gets better and better. the only huge difference or least defining one is the jumpshot. kobe jumpshot is a work of art, its so fluid and graceful. i mean, when he shoots everyone holds their breath thinking its gonna go in. its that deadly for a J.
Lebron, his shot has improved alot ova the last two years and has shown signs of being unstoppable from any point on the floor. still, he will have those bron bron nights where hes back to being "Clark Kent" instead of "superman". even when he needs to turn it up he will jack up shot after shot or drive drive drive. his offensive game isnt a arsenal of moves like kobe.

Agreed, however, on the physical side, LeBron is unstoppable. Every time he drives to the basket, everyone holds their breath thinking he is going to score. When Kobe drives, he sometimes has the ball stripped. LeBron cannot be stopped when he takes it to the hoop. Kobe is the better player no doubt, but we have to be fair here.

no doubt. Lebron played football back in hs, his body can take a hit like no other in the nba. when lebron drives, its the same when the president speaks, ppl shut up, jaws drop and when hes done, ppl say, OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
could you imagine kobe with that type of body? or at least if kobe kept those big arms back in the 03-04 season i think. thing is though, kobes adjusted his body to his play. hes always been a finesse player rather than power but hes never been afraid to bang around.

When the President (Bush) speaks, everyone feels like throwing tomatoes at him.
But I get what you're saying. Still, I like the more Finesse player like Kobe. Kobe's play is beauitful and artistic. When Kobe goes in those moods when he is automatic from anywhere on the court, he is better than LeBron just driving it inside. You can kind of stop a guy who keeps driving it to the Basket, you can't stop a guy who is hitting shots from anywhere on the court with multiple people in his face.

truthfully, Lebron is Scottie Pippen. a great player, great passer, he can defend (as seen in the olympics) and imagine if he had that load taken off him to score as much, and a great passer, a point forward.

LeBron is completely different from scottie pippen. His defense is nowhere near Scottie, but his offense is leaps and bound above his.i could only take Lebron if Kobe was here, don't get me wrong Lebron is great. His Physical speed/strength combo is unearthly, but Kobe has that "thing", he showed it in the olympica and weve seen it over and over again. wade is great and arenas when healthy and so many others. But Kobe is Kobe and he only he can do the things we have seen. also 70% from the free throw line.

LeBron is a go to guy who can score 15 points in a 4th quarter if his team needed it. You can't say that about Scottie.
And as for Kobe 'outplaying everybody' in the Olympics, if I remember correctly, it was Wade and Bosh who outshined everybody.

ITll be
Fisher vs Rondo
Kobe vs Ray Ray
LeBron vs Pierce
Odom vs KG
Gasol vs Perkins
We wouldn't worry bout Pierce.
