Because we have many one-player fans

i have yet to see any fans like that on tis site, i only se you accusing people of being of being Kobe fans.
truthfully kobe has more fans than almost everyone in the league, and most Lakrs fans hav a hierarchy in which magic and KObe are the top two all-time. but then there are guys who dont like kobe as much, and they wis Shaq was still a Laker and they dont admit that Shaq was lazy here. I know of at least one fan on this site that qualifies for that
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

This is exactly how Pau likes it. He is recognized but he is not front and center. Perfect teammate for Kobe.Which is one reason I like Pau. Go team Pau!!!!

Pau played a great game nevertheless, high in rebounds for the West. Fitting compliment to Shaq's game.

i wish he wasn't playing one less player to worry about.

being and eagles and lakers fan i have come to feel nervous watching my teams play thinking injuries are bound to happen

i'm proud to see we finally have more than one all star but i would prefer to not have to think about him getting hurt in such a useless boring game

Hell - I'm crazy proud of Pau in the All-Star game.

But you have to know that with the Shaq/Phil/Kobe soap opera back in the headlines, that any other Laker related All-Star talk would take a backseat.

Pau is the best PF in the Association this year and it's great to see him get recognized for it.

Nobody is ignoring Pau at all. I think the majority of fans here appreciate Pau's impact on the Lakers great winning record so far. The coaches in the West also consider his role in the Lakers' success by voting him in as an All-Star reserve.

That parade comment was rude...
But yeah Pau had a good game and should get some MVP votes at the end of the season.

Just look the news of the blog. Like 5-6 consecutive Kobe news and no any mention saying Pau did 14 points in the match.

At least Pau could be mentioned in the news but no.

Pau's like the silent teammate behind the Star of the team...just not shining as bright as he should...but we know he's contented to be in that position.

Just look at this:

You fail hard.

And you should know without Pau Lakers would never have reached NBA finals last year even having Kobe Bryant being on top-form in all his matches.

Didn't read anything here besides the first post. Just wanna say that Pau is a boring All-Star. He deserves to get in, but he doesn't scream All-Star excitement or anything to me.

Solid, consistent, team-first play is always exciting.

65-13 since his arrival - that's exciting.
