It has been said by some insiders of sorts that Miami was probably the team LA would have to fear most losing LO to at end of season. The Heat no longer has Marion's expiring contract and O'Neal isn't a FA this season so did that trade maybe reduce by one, and possibly the biggest, threat to LA possibly keeping LO after this season? I hope so. I hope LA is able to keep LO and Trevor. The only trade I would like to see this week is one BSPN threw out there and that was Mihm and Sun for Andray Blatche.

Probably. I have a feeling LO is a Laker for life. With this economy, nobody is going to offer him an insane contract. I see us giving him a 9 million/year deal.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

with moon, beasley, and haslem i dont see how LO would fit. I think they would still consider going after boozer though. L.O. in the NY/NJ area is my biggest fear
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Miami is aiming for a big name free agent, ala Bosh. If Bosh starts pouting in Toronto next year, they can easily move JO's fat expiring and a bunch of picks, for Chris Bosh.

C Bosh
PF Beaseley
SF Moon
SG Wade
PG Chalmers

Easily one of the funnest teams to watch in the league.

I hope so. I remember once Lamar said he would take less for a longer contract. Heck offer him 5 years and 40 million and see if it gets done. If not then 5 for 45. If you could get LO for 5 for 40 and Ariza 4 for 20 or 4 for 22 that would double sweet. Then use free agency to get a center to replace Mihm unless we could get a decent one with one of the 3 picks in draft. Someone to back up Drew and then Pau. Nice situation for young center to back up and learn from Drew and Pau and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Maybe a Euro in second round like Marc Gasol was.

Buss dumping Shaq and keeping Kobe was the greatest move we've made this decade, Shaq was on the decline and Kobe was just getting better.

Of course Shaq is still great now, well that's because of the Suns medical staff, nothing else. LOL!

I'd plow Vanessa Bryant.

I'm gonna guess, I think you got the wrong O'neal.
