Lamar Odom got his 3rd straight season high in rebounds with 19.

17 against Cleveland.
18 against Oklahoma City.
19 against Utah.

I'd rather have a W with LO grabbing 3 rebounds than an L with him grabbing a season-high :(

Oh, same here. But it's still good to see him hitting the glass like that.

Definitely, I love this fired up LO ever since Bynum went down. Been doing great for us.

the bad thing is its all-star break while LO is in a great rhythm
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

LO did his job. He shut down Milsap and outrebounded him badly. It's Gasol and Fisher who didn't do theirs defensively that cost us the game.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

I know, I'm not blaming him at all for this loss. I'm just saying that a new season-high doesn't mean much if the game turns out to be a loss for us.

who has been able to stop williams lately, if anything the team failed to pay enough attention to him, and Pau doesnt defend well against bigs who can go inside out

The Lakers were exhausted tonight and D-Wil has been the best player in the Association of late. No one can stop him. We had a chance to win tonight and I was happy about that.

42-10 the Best record in the NBA going into the all-star break.
This loss humbled us alot and hopefully when we get back from the break we will start another Streak killing cats.

The Huge wins against Boston and Cleveland was a bit overwhelming now that it's long gone it's time to close out the rest of these chumps in the NBA

We all need to smile .
Don't worry , Be happy, BEST RECORD IN THE NBA HEADING INTO A FUN WEEKEND ALL-STAR BREAK

I'm with you on that Ken.

Still nice to see Odom playing with some fire. Maybe that gf of his is teasing him with a little sumthin' sumthin' if he reaches new season high every game...

Yeah Gasol has really cost LA a lot of games since coming over hasn't he? It might be because boy wonder is hurt again and LA has no backup centers so Gasol was dead legs last night due to minutes he is having to play at a position he didn't ask to play. Get off Gasol's butt, he is one of main reasons LA has best record in NBA right now.

We missed Gasol's dominace inside. He grabbed only 3 rebounds and scored 16 points. We needed at least a 20-10 night from Pau.

Oh well... We dropped one, but we still have the best record in the NBA ( not that we have to celebrate :D ). The guys will get some rest, which is well needed. And you know how the Lakers play after the All-Star break ;). I totally agree with ILLWiLL20. We need be thankful and stay humble. Enjoy the All-Star break and prepare for the final quarter of the season :) Go Lakers :)

I'm actually going to defend lakerfool in this one, because he is always supporting Gasol, he just didn't play well this time.
