Wizards forward Caron Butler wasn't selected as a member of the Eastern Conference All-Star team, but he's very confident in his abilities.

"Like I've said, I know I'm an all-star," said Butler.

"Obviously, the record don't prove that and that's why we're in the position we're in, myself and Antawn [Jamison]. But we're going to continue to perform as all-stars and lead this team."

Someone should tell him that "perform as all-stars" means "lead your team to victories".

MJ couldnt lead that team to the playoffs

i just realized the irony in that statement
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

All-star numbers/talent doesn't always equal being an all-star.

Wasn't it just yesterday everyone was complaining about Kwame for Caron?

Now we have the All-Star (Pau) as a result of that trade :dance1:
