Yeah, we have defensive problems.

I tried to answer your question on this topic, but you ignored my post, RD. What do you think of my answer?

So you want me, and all of us, to believe that we purposely let teams back into these games? Why would we only do it with teams like the Pacers, who we'll never see in the playoffs? Why didn't we do this with the Cavs? We were sitting pretty comfortably...yet, by your theory, we should be letting guys like that back into the game, so we can figure them out and see if we can beat a caliber team after a mishap such as that one.

I never said that regular season wins aren't important to our playoff standings. They are. I said that regular season record doesn't really mean that we are the best team in the NBA, because that is handed out in June -- and history shows that it's not always given to the team with the most wins near the end of April.

With that said, I severely doubt that Phil Jackson, or any coach, is that crazy to plan a comeback for the opposite team, when their #1 goal is to get home court against the teams they'll eventually face in the playoffs.

OH MY GOD. That's perfect. Judge the Lakers on last night. Unbelievable.

 apparently, you watch the games for entertainment.

I was hoping they'd move it to the NBA Talk forum, so I decided to filibuster them!

No, if that's how you feel (that we purposely let teams back into games), then make a topic and see how many others feel that way (not just Scott P).

He had hot and cold stretches because he didn't get enough shots.

And even in cold stretches, 3pt shooters still spread the floor, and give room for guards and bigs to work.

I still believe this was a great move for both teams.

% wise, he's up there. And you neglect to add the inconsistencies of both Peja and Kapono that are similar to VladRads.

3pt shots are funny things. Some nights you are on, some you are not. The key is you create spacing on the floor. You're going to hit less than half regardless, but if you are a threat like VladRad, you bring a lot of value to the offense.

I've posted on many other team boards, not just a Lakers board, so I could recruit for my site. I was actually on a Suns board two years ago. You know what? They had appreciative fans. What's funny about that? Many of them were saying, "Man, we have the best record in the West, just appreciate that and MOVE ON!"

I laughed, chuckled a bit.

So, you go from team to team, feeling superior because you're more negative than the average fan? Who's your next team gonna be? Portland looks like a comer.
