Out of all the choices mentioned, I'd have to go with Jordan/Pippen. Flat-out domination for the better part of a decade.

i picked shaq and kobe because Jordan and pippen was more of a 1-1 punch... Jordan did most of the work... Shaq and kobe was REALLY shaq and kobe. now we don't need his bumb [expletive]... HAHAHAH

the one that really stuck out to me was stockton and malone.

I would think that anyone who wasn't lucky enough to see the 80s Lakers would vote Shaq / Kobe.

But really, you should go find the games somewhere and treat yourself to that era of basketball.

Magic / Kareem without a doubt.

Magic is GOAT
Kareem greatest scorer in history

5 rings…in an era where there were legit powerhouses like the Celts, Pistons and Sixers

Sorry but Magic and Kareem weren't at the top of their games at the same time.

MJ and Pip didn't provide the same 1-2 punch that represented the best in the ENTIRE NBA, both frontcourt and backcourt. Both played a little in the post, a little on the perimeter. Both were ball-hawks.

Shaq and Kobe represented 2 of the best, perimeter and post, playing together at the same time, able to demolish any teams perimeter or post players at any time. With SIGNIFICANTLY worse role players, they dominated for 3 seasons...consistently at the top of their game. They weren't just good...at their best, they were DOMINANT.

No other duo can boast the same on all fronts.

Tie between Kobe-Shaq and Jordan-Pippen

It would easily be Kobe-Shaq if they stopped fighting and stayed together. The amount they won with very thin talent was amazing. Bulls teams had really deep teams. Kucoc off the bench...Rodman...HoGrant...common.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

You also have another of the original 50 greatest players in the mix also...a little known guy - Worthy something? Some random guy there...Don't forget these OTHER great players, including some HOFers/FHOFers...

Byron Scott
Cooper
Norm Nixon
Jamal Wilkes
Bob McAdoo
Mychal Thompson

Kobe and Shaq did all of that on the strength of Kobe and Shaq.

Well, I wouldn’t call a veteran-laden supporting cast of Horry, Fox, Harper, Shaw, Grant, Rice garbage either…in fact, when they added two other HOFers, they didn’t win a title…

You give me Magic and Kareem with Shaq and Kobe’s supporting cast and they sweep Detroit in 04

I don't think Kobe and Shaq's best team would've defeated Jordan and Pippen's best, and if you think Pippen didn't do anything, you should realize that he's probably one of the best (if not the best) defensive small forwards in NBA history.

Magic and Kareem were incredible, no doubt...but Jordan is the greatest to ever play the game, and Kareem wasn't the player he was with the Bucks (after one or two seasons with Magic, Kareem's scoring and rebounding was down by quite a bit compared to his 30/16 averages with the Bucks).
