NEW ORLEANS -- Hornets All-Star forward David West was ejected after a hard foul from behind on Mike Miller late in the second quarter of New Orleans' home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night.

West appeared upset that no foul was called on the other end of the court seconds earlier, when he appeared to be hit and turned the ball over, leading to a fastbreak by Minnesota.

Miller was driving to the hoop when West chopped his right arm down over Miller's right shoulder from behind, catching Miller in the face with a forearm. Miller dropped to the floor and remained down for several seconds. He remained in with no apparent injury.

West was called for a flagrant-2 foul, which carries an automatic ejection. The play also will be reviewed by the league and could result in a suspension. West had nine points and two rebounds before he was thrown out with 1:53 to go in the first half, when New Orleans trailed 48-43.

West's ejection was yet another blow to a depleted Hornets squad which came in already missing All-Star point guard Chris Paul (groin) and starting center Tyson Chandler (ankle).

Yeah that was dirty no doubt, but stupid Minnesota still couldn't get the job done with NO missing CP3, Chandler, Peterson, and West. Shawn Marks of all people killed them, sad.

Sorry to play the race card, but why is it that usually when a cheap shot is handed out it's a Black player on a White player?

^ KG is the most common on that. The majority of his victims are white, mainly straight up Euros though literally.

The problem though is that it's the European mentality to fight back by scoring a bucket in their face, not to fight back by punching them back, but since they don't physically fight back, Black players still keep doing it to them.

Although, there is Rad's push on Chandler as retaliation  (Another example of a Black player smashing into a White player)

The point remains that Black players pick on White players whether you want to admit it or not.

im not arguing that TC clearly wasnt picking on vlade thats what im arguing so thats not a good example so stop trying to make NO look bad...besides white players are usually soft as $hit and they cant handle the toughness of the black players, prime example Pau Gasol.

That's ridiculous.

Absolutely and utter ridiculous.

The problem is that you classify tough as in the smash bodies with someone, cause them pain fashion.

I classify tough as playing hard defense and making them fight for every bucket.

Pau Gasol definitely has former.

Dirty & cheap shots especially don't classify as 'tough'.

Why does it seem like since David West became an All-Star last season, he thinks he's all badass?

NO isnt a threat to the lakers one bit and Pau was until lately soft as charmin.

almost most if not all of the players who smash bodies play hard defense thats what makes it hard defense the relentlessness and toughness did last years final show you nothing thats all the celtics did to us even though you can say some of it was dirty/illegal but they still were tough..and thats what has gasol in the weight room now to smash bodies.

Maybe he's just got that 'me against the world' attitude, kinda thuggish, kinda ruggish.

Until just lately? You serious? Pau's been arguably our most consistent player all season, even more than the great Mamba. Some people are so ungrateful.

Pau is an OFFENSIVE player.

Is Chris Bosh a hard nose defensive player? no?

At least Pau managed to play good defense on Duncan and Boozer in the playoffs.

my point exactly most euros are too soft and all they think about is playing offense so of course they get bullied
