The Lakers became the first team in NBA history to win back-to-back games, both on the road, against teams with .800-plus win percentage at least 40 games into the season.

Check out this stat too

The Lakers finished their road trip with a perfect 6-0 record. The last time the Lakers finished a road trip at least 6-0 was in the 1999-00 season which was the first year of their three straight NBA titles.

this is that moment like when boston did the texas three step unscathed last year, with those teams playing well at the time
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

What a great job it would be to research obscure stats and records like that...

And they did it without Bynum for both games and Kobe sick with the flu in one of the games. That's what makes it even more impressive. Hopefully we don't relax once we get back home.
