over luke anyday. i hate luke. he should have been traded. morrison starting and ariza coming off the bench. morrison isnt known for his D but at least he can shoot BETTER than walton and he'd have the same role as radman as in just spotting up and shooting. he can also create his own shot which is a plus. i hate luck walton man. all he does is let the defender go by him every single time and hope that the bigs down low will take care of it. he sucks. but as for morrison he was averaging 15 pts a game his rookie season until he got injured. so idk. lets see how this trade works out. but i doubt he will play. 1. he's new and doesnt know the triangle yet and 2. we have alot of guards so playing time will be ample. but lets just see

Yeh, he'll most likely never start for this team. Luke does move the ball around a lot to get the offense started but that's pretty much it.

adam will prob never be a starter for the lakers. he doesnt know the system. luke knows it, loves it, sleeps with it, it even has his babies.

luke is the starter, move on.

Unbelievable that Luke is starting material in this league and with the Lakers! He's like the teachers pet. Luke has two of the worst attributes as a player, defense and shooting. For some reason, we can't find one SF that can play average defense and shoot the ball over so many years.
Morrison's defense is probably just as bad as Lukes but he has potential to be a scoring threat. I don't mind Luke on this team except as a bench player. If this team is going to solidify itself as a scary team, we just need to fill that defensive hole at SF. Now for the PG position that's the same story also but at least Fisher and Farmar can shoot the ball.
Luke's IQ with the triangle is great but IQ in pressure situation is below average. He's made so many clutch stupid mistakes in the past few years, that I wanted to :censored:

You guys worry too much about Luke starting. As long as is he's not at the end of the games when his unclutchness shows up, we're ok.

We Are Worried,
We Need To Prove That
Kobe/Lakers is BETTER than Lebron/Cavs.

Kobe/Lakers are better than Lebron/Cavs, no discussion.
How many rings does Lebron have?

Zero triangle knowledge....? And start?

He's no Pau. Lightning rarely strikes twice in the same place.

Morrison averaged 11.8 ppg his rookie year and he got hurt in his 2nd year...you're off on both accounts...

Only Luke Walton can defend Paul Pierce.

When we face the C's in the Finals, we'll need Luke.

Edited by elpermic, February 08, 2009 - 03:59 PM.

I'd plow Vanessa Bryant.

luke is so underated...especially defensively..and he shoots better than most non-shooters
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers
