as of right now no cause it would lead to a logjam between bynum, gasol & amare. So if we dd get Amare it's a clear sign Bynum or Gasol will be traded. I highly doubt we get Amare but if we do then Gasol or Bynum are gone

its not a log jam IMO because amare may be selfish but to win a title he will get in line and he plays the same position as lamar and what people dont get is that he fits the style of the second unit much better than the starting unit

starters do post play, cutting, smart basketball

bench mob is run and gun

you put amare at center and run and gun all day long

andrew
gasol
luke
kobe
fish

second unit

amare
ariza
morrison
brown
farmar

thats 2 different teams on one team

I would be [expletive]ing orgasmic if we got Amare.

As Popo said, rent him for a year, trade him for a top 3 SF next year (better than Deng).

Amare is too selfish to be the 2nd best player let alone a 6th man... He don't care about championships... He only cares about himself... He even called out Nash, who made him...

His ego is even bigger than Shaq...

This is the same guy who fired all his personal managers because he is not getting any attention...

if you would not trade lamar for amare then you need to realize a 25 year old all star is better compared to a 29 year old magician

and as people have said you can easily trade him for more people than you can with lamar

amare is a much more attractive trade piece

you make him the starter for the rest of the regular season we go to the playoffs if bynums back 100% he starts otherwise he sits and amare starts

then next season you discuss extension with amare if hes ok with being a 6th man extraordinare who puts up 25 a night off the bench

if not you trade him for a stud SF which we could get almost anyone with amare because PFs are valued much higher than SFs

I don't think we should trade him for a high scorer now since we already have alot of them how about Amare for Prince and Maxiel in the off-season if we get him.

exactly getting amare gives us 10 times the options lamar ever gave us

stuff like that would be flowing in

and on the other side if he decided to stay and was perfectly fine comong off the bench we have a 25ppg bench player who in 5 years is our starter

too bad this deal wont happen but i wish

I doubt there is any significant truth about trading with the Suns.

Think about it...

Lakers got Ariza with nobody knowing of any sort of talks of a trade. No rumors going around.

Then they got Pau with no rumors going around of a trade.

And now they got Morrison and Shannon Brown out of no where.

No one knew of any trades going down or any sorts of talks when those were happening.

^^^^ yeah but while thats true its not law so don't hold it as law

i do agree though the chances the suns trade amare to LA are astronomical

it would never happen

I'd take either but if given an option, I'd rather have Amare.

Buss can recoup those 20+ mil in salary from the TV deals, merchandise and PLAYOFF game sales. I think season ticket renewal rate would go thru the ROOF!!!!

I would NEVER, ever, ever, ever, ever trade for Amare. Shaq? That would push LA over the top. It wouldn't even be fair.

With Amare on board Buss and David Stern will change the team name to the Los Angeles All-Stars.

NBA will rake in bank!

It's like watching 82+ All-Star games every season! :o

Let me ask you guys this - would YOU trade Odom for Amare?

Yeah I'll do that and then send Amare to another team for a better fitting piece.

Amare for Odom?

Who says no to that? If you do, you have to ask yourself if you are truly a fan of winning. LO has his advantages but a combination of Amare and Pau or Pau and Bynum ranks as the top frontcourt in the league!!!!! No matter HOW you slice it!

Sub in any of those 3 and we have a decisive advantage in the paint.

Add in this little known guy by the name of Kobe and it's not hard to see why that would be a NO BRAINER, even WITH the BLOATED salary!

I wouldn't want Shaq cause I can picture the haters saying "See told ya Kobe can't win without Shaq"

Nuff said.
