“Last year they took it from us, and I’m not going to live with that,” said Bryant. “I’m not going to sit here and let this team get punked any more.”

The only thing better than Kobe is a pissed off Kobe...

last night was 2 hours of we aren't taking your [expletive] any more

i loved it from going down by 8 points throughout the game and coming back to going down lat and coming back to going at them and taking it to them

i thought we sent a message that we may not be as pretty as last year with all our 3 pointers and high scoring but we damn sure are grittier and ready to fight back

this rivalry is getting to be an actual rivalry

I'm sure it was something along the lines of:

Lol, Kobe is not near the toughest guy in the league, in terms of "i do not want to [expletive] with him"

Plus the Celtics probably wanted to do [expletive] like this on purpose, if they lose Rondo, and we lose Kobe to ejection, they win.

I'd call David Stern and replace the referees by the 4th quarter if that happened.

Haha I meant they wanted to get Kobe riled up, but he's too cool to lose control. They just hoped Kobe would push back or throw a punch somehow, or maybe get a 2nd tech later on so he can be eliminated from the game.

Rondo didn't know who was he dealing with. Kobe may not be the physicali toughest guy out there, but the best player in the world surely deserves some respect...

The Celtics made two big mistakes that game:

They made Kobe mad. Everyone knows you just don't do that. You're just asking for him to go off on you.

and

They made Lamar pissed off which resulted in him having a big second half for them. He was having a horrible game up until then.

Kobe looks like the scolding father-figure saying to Rondo "you need a time out!" and Rondo is being comforted by his big sister Ray Allen...
