The Lakers defeated the Celtics 111-110 in overtime and Kobe Bryant was pleased with the play of his teammates.

"You can see the growth from last year to this year," said Bryant. "Last year, the 8-0 runs turned into 15-2 runs, that's what we couldn't weather. We've grown tremendously in our poise this year."

I see faith in your eyes
never you hear the discouraging lies
broken is the promise, betrayal
the healing hand held back by deepened nail
follow the god that failed

youre right, those 5 points mean nothing when we won by 1 point....

he had a really really bad game. but he still got 5 points that we needed.

yes they have.....im a subscriber to Riley's 'painful process of progression' theory....this team now has that chip on its shoulder that championship squads have
QUOTE ("Jerry Buss")
One of the biggest reasons I bought the Lakers was to beat the Celtics …..you just got it into your soul that you couldn't stand the Celtics anymore
