Spurs coach Gregg Popovich, not known for coddling his players, is worried about the hip contusion that held Manu Ginobili out of Tuesday's game against the Nuggets.

"We're not going to go very far without him," Popovich said. "So it's important to protect him to some degree."

Popovich rested Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Michael Finley as well, but characterized Ginobili as the only one "legitimately banged-up."
