Obviously we'll be without Bynum. I don't really know what to think about these away games - We will have to have a lot of other people step up offensively, and, more importantly, defensively. Do you think our game plan without the big man will be different against these and the other teams we play? Either way, should be great games and hopefully our depth will help us through this difficult time.

I think Kobe is gonna have to step it up and drop 40+ in both games...and Powell neeeds to step it up. We can win both

Without Bynum, I expect the Lakers to win one of the two. But you never know, Lakers tend to have their best defensive efforts against the best teams.

Hope we do good but I'm kinda scared we might lose both. Hard to beat these teams on tha road. CLE is undefeated at home and BOS will show some revenge for Christmas. I'd be glad to win 1.

^ i'll ignore..anyway if those teams have any shot of beating us in the finals...those`two games are must-wins for them. we embarrased both of them and without bynum they have the advantage, so i will take one win...most def
Again - this team, as currently constructed won't make it out of the second round of the playoffs, let alone the West or win the Finals.---fido on 2011 Lakers

Thing that scares me at the moment is that Ilgauskas i back for the Cavs. Lakers are gonna have some hard time against Cleveland.. not to mention Celtics.

Anything can happen. We basically have the same guys, plus Trevor, that won the West last year. They'll take it one game at a time. Lamar and Pau work very well together. Lamar's numbers will go up and the defense will have to improve as it did in the second half at Memphis last night.

to put a positive spin on things, we've beat both these teams with bynum, if they beat us without bynum, they still won't KNOW that they can beat us with bynum. and we won't be seeing either of them until the finals

need not worry too much about boston, we have trevor now :) ... lets look at it this way, back in last seasons finals, do you think they would have won without a veteran pj brown and their defensive guard in james posey?

so boston without brown and posey beats lakers with trevor? dont think so...

as for CLE, yah they have big Z back, but im still really confident that we can pull it out.

A tough close win in Boston, followed by an ugly and tired loss in Cleveland

?

we have a 3 day rest in between each game

boston @ february 5
cavs @ february 8

i'm more worried about the ACTUAL back-to-back that we have which is

raptors @ february 4 THEN the celtics.
