now losing in the first round will be even funnier

just joking

but in all seriousness not being bias i am an eagles fan and WRs are always the talk of the town and who to trade for

roy williams was always low on the list behind

larry fitzgerald
anquan boldin
andre johnson
chad johnson
TJ housh

are issues with roy were while talented he never had more than 7 touchdowns as a pro even in his best year

his best year 2006 was 1,024 yards and 7tds decent but kevin curtis put up 1,200+yds and 6tds and noone mentioned him amongst eagles fans probably because hes white so he looks less imposing

having said that i think its a good acquisition because it is the best WR TO has ever had next to him but the cowboys if they were going to jailbreak on a WR should have went for anquan boldin or TJ housh because those guys have smaller egos and a much more productive

still good pick up

thats what having 3 probowl caliber corners is for and asante, lito, and sheldon will now show their worth

lol good luck to the league trying to guard both RW and TO. Can't double T.O anymore...no more all out blitzes...teams are gonna play a lot of zones now...and we still have witten in the middle...and then we have our running game with our thunder MBIII and lightning FeJo

not true

randy moss and wes welker was much better and the giants played them man up

asante samuel(top 3 corner)

lito sheppard (top 15 corner)

sheldon brown (top 25 corner)

then you add the best pass rush in the NFL

thats enough

besides all you have to do is slap at romo's arm and he'll fumble the ball

/trash talking

nice pick up but keep your head right and realize hes talented but you didn't add another elite WR you added a very talented 2nd tier guy which is all you needed for know.

you guys still have major defensive questions i mean everyone but cleveland scored all over you guys

but i wont talk too much season aint over and there is still a lot of games to play but let me put it this way

tom brady>>>>>>>>tony romo

randy moss>TO not by much but yes randy is still the better WR maybe by 1% but still the edge

wes welker>>roy williams more productive

yet who won the superbowl the giants its about coaching and playing as a team and even you have to admit the cowboys have neither right now

Asante top 3? top 5, maybe. Champ, and Aso hands down 1 and 2.

champ what is this 2 years ago champ has clearly lost a step big time

nmandi who believes hes better than asante a raider fan

last time i checked asante was a consensus top 3 corner by almost every analyst

nmandi is top 3 top 5

my list depending on what you consider a good corner if its playmaking

then

asante
cromartie
nmandi

if its simply staying with your WR

then

nmandi
asante
bailey
mathis

and thats not bias i beilieved that before asante was an eagle

as mark shelereth once said the thing about asante is that he is the smartest defensive player in the NFL that was 2 weeks before he signed with the eagles

i believed it then and i believe it now

nmandi is great but hes not better than asante

and champ bailey is way past his prime hes still top 5 but he lost his title of best corner on the planet 2 years ago

We shall see

you know i could care less about roy williams being traded because i dont feel he changes the complexion of the NFC by much

but cowboy fans glowing about now they are shoe ins for the superbowl is kind of annoying considering they were consensus superbowl winners in the preseason and if not but a couple of lucky fumbles on handoffs and playing 2 winnless teams one of which gave them hell they would be 2-4

yet the typical cowboy fan feels no matter what they are entitled to a superbowl

not saying you personally but just in general

there is an annoying arrogance to every cowboy fan very annoying

then again you could say the same about laker fans which i hope i don't show but probablyy do

i like his cover skills but the guy leaves way too many plays on the field

my brothers a cowboy fan and i see about 1 drop every 2 games with the guy

and most of the time they are gimmes

eh In my opinion a lot of us cowboys fans needed something positive to look forward to ya know...like the past few weeks have been hell...and yesterday was horrible with the news of our punter being out the whole year, hurd being out the whole year, felix out for a month, tony our for a month...so a lot of cowboys fans see this as some sort of light at the end of the tunnel...by no means we are shoe ins...NFC is pretty good this year. But we feel like our offense was already good and with Roy it's going to be that much better. But our defense is what makes us doubt our team mostly. But lucky things don't matter a win is win...no one will remember those at the end of the season just the total number of wins at the end of the season and ultimately what you do in the playoffs. so we'll take the "lucky" wins for now. Anyways heard Philly was trying to get RW and i'm happy that he's not going to you guys because Jackson, Williams, Brown, Curtis would have been deadly

but you see thats the thing you guys felt you needed a light at the end of the tunnell

hell tony romo is hurt how about mcnabb hurt what every other year

but enough of fan bashing

i'm not dumb roy williams would have been a nice addition he would have given us a tall red zone threat but in all honesty he doesn't fit our system and isn't physical enough to fit our system

not to mention i would rather desean get this year to develop before we bring in someone

remember how the lakers didn't rush on jermaine o'neal and stayed course thats what i hope the eagles do

TJ housh
anquan boldin
andre johsnon

are the apples of my eye and if we land one of them in the offseason then i will be much happier than i would have been with roy

i like roys game but not for the West coast offense

we'll see if any of those go through but i do know one thing

kevin curtis and westbrook come back the #1 and #3 most important players on the eagles offense return

should be helpful

Source: Romo tells coaches he'll play with broken finger
Tony Romo is willing to do his part.

The quarterback informed coaches on Wednesday that he is ready to play Sunday against the St. Louis Rams, a high-ranking Cowboys source told ESPN.com's Matt Mosley.

Romo
He suffered a broken pinkie finger on his throwing hand in a 30-24 loss at Arizona on Sunday, and Dallas medical staff said that he will miss a month. The injury did not require surgery.

Romo did not practice on Wednesday but did throw the ball on the side, and according to eyewitnesses, he was able to throw the ball with good velocity and appeared confident after throwing. The session was not open to reporters.

The Cowboys' biggest concern is that Romo gets hit again, causing him to miss more time than initially anticipated.

Brett Favre, who has started an NFL-record 258 consecutive regular-season games, told ESPN on Tuesday that he called Tony Romo and encouraged him to try to play.

"The only thing I said was, it's worth trying [to play] if you can deal with the pain and can function good enough with a splint,'' Favre said. "If not, don't try.''

Favre has played through a fractured thumb in the past.

After saying he'd try to play, Romo's streak of 30 consecutive starts is now in the hands of Cowboys coaches
