He just won't get the playing time he wants if he joins us... I don't think a healthy Lakers team needs any kind of additional depth or firepower...

In an hourlong interview with The Post, Marbury also said another NBA team has made an overture toward him. Miami is known to have expressed interest.

Any type of “verbal agreement” with a player currently under contract with another team might fall into the "tampering" penalty.
This is very true.
The Knicks could take the Celtics to court for this...seriously, it has happened many times before. Although the prosecuting team usually doesn't win this case (meaning the worst the Celtics will get is a small fine and a slap on the wrist)
