Game time: Lakers 99, Spurs 85

Previous to the game it certainly looked like San Antonio was the only team that could prevent the Lakers from returning to the Finals. By early in the third quarter, however, this possibility was revealed as a pipe dream.

Good stuff, read the rest of the article fellas!

Hughes' self-serving statement is an echo of what Joe "Jelly Bean" Bryant once said: "I'd rather score 20 and lose then score 10 and win." The only way Hughes can at least partially redeem himself would be to father a player as good as Kobe Bryant.

We beat them...yes. That's nothing though. We are starting to get too caught up in games that have little to no effect on the ultimate prize.

If anything, we should be studying the Spurs defensive rotations and schemes. If we can adopt those, then we will truly be the team to beat.

Just one game, fellas.

By this logic, there is no way we could beat ORL for the title...they swept us this year...
