Quinlan is probably the entertaining player to watch in the Majors. Everything he does makes me laugh a little. He bats, runs and stands strange lol.

Lackey through 6. Red Sox 0 hits. Thankfully if he actually throws a no-hitter, which he still has a ways, we can actually win it this time so it's actually considered a no-no.

Moreno has proven that he isn't afraid to spend, so lets hope they do re-sign him.

Exactly, Moreno is no cheap Mexican (no pun intended).

Pitched great tonight. I'm amazed Lackey pitched this well considering he struggles at Fenway.

Angels keep KICKING ARSE!! What a game by Mr. Lackey, too bad he choked it up a bit at the end, lol, but still, tremendous performance.

Nice to see them OWNing the Sox, hopefully they can carry it over to the playoffs where it counts, especially with the addition of Texiereia.

Scott Boras was looking for a 10yr/230M contract for Teixeira? I hope that isn't true because the Angels won't do that.

Surprised they didn't work an extension in, since they aren't big on "rental players."

Apparently they tried, but didn't get anywhere.

To go with the top pitching staff. Its not even fair. Championship baby :)

BREAKING NEWS: Angels acquire teixera for kotchman and prospect
Teixera to angels

Great trade, I just hope that we can re-sign Tiexera after this season. If we win the World Series and are able to re-sign him I would be in heaven. If we don't win the WS and end up losing him in the offseason that could be a big hit to the franchise both in the present and the future.

Assuming that the FO is expecting to try and re-sign Tiexera after this year also points even further to the notion that they are planning on letting Frankie go after this season. Hopefully Arredondo can step in and fill that role. Everything he's shown us this season says that he can.

What a day though. We finally get another big bat and we take another one from the Red Sox. If Lackey could have finished off that no hitter this wouldn't been an almost perfect day for Angel fans. :)

Hopefully that's just a high ball offer being thrown out there by Boras cause can't imagine the Angels ever dishing out that kind of cash for Tiexera.

Vladdy, Teixeria, Hunter is a big time lineup. Whole lot of power going on right there. Add in .330 hitter in Kendrick and speed throughout the lineup in guys like Figgins, Izturis, Aybar, etc. and you've got a very strong offense.

As for the pitching.....well.....I'm not even gonna start.

The reason the Braves traded Tex must have been because of

SCOTT BORAS.
